What is the influence of Finasteride on testosterone rate in the blood?
On the contrary to what patients are afraid of, the testosterone rate increases slightly. On the other hand, the DHT rate (dihydrotestosterone) decreases by about 50%. Finasteride prevents the testosterone transformation into DHT. This explains both blood modifications observed.
